Top 5 Funny Man from U.N.C.L.E moments

2015 brought us successful film adaptations of books and TV shows like Emma Donaghue’s the Room and the highly anticipated 50 Shades of Grey by E.L. James. Here are the top 4 funny moments from Guy Ritchie’s adaptation of Man from U.N.C.L.E.

#4 – In this clip, Cavill’s Solo escapes torture with the help of Armie Hammer’s Ilya Kuryakin.

#3 – Spy movies are always fun to watch because of their cool gadgets – our fourth pick has Solo and Kuryakin showing off their findings.

#2 on this list feature the amazing boat sequence in the movie, at one point during their escape – we see Solo enjoying a sandwich while Kuryakin leads his enemies on a merry boat chase on the river.

Last, but not least, out number one pick is the Wrestling sequence shared by Agents Teller and Kuryakin during their first few days together. What a great sequence this was to watch!

Anxious and overwhelmed

Dear wordpress.

Today I am feeling even more anxious and overwhelmed than normal.

One of the youtubers that I watch on a semi regular basis has recently said that going to school for a creative medium isn’t the best idea because they’re not going to care about me, just about the most recent creative work that I’ve done.

And as an aspiring artist who really hasn’t started much or done much in terms of discovering who I am as a writer or potential film maker, this really hurts.

Like I legitimately don’t know where I’m going.

As a fan watching movies and tv shows, I tune in best with the emotions of a character, especially if said emotions are very strong.

This stems from me being rooted deep in my emotions.I tend to feel things and feel them so strongly it’s paralyzing.

I also can’t seem to separate the anxiety and the calm very well.

That’s gonna read so weird. Even now as I calm down, that reads weird.

I just… I’ll get so caught up in what other people say that I forget that whatever it is I have planned for the future will be my experience and no one else’s.

Everyone else’s experience does not apply to me.

I’ll make of this… something. I just..I can never separate the hysteria from the calm logic..

I dunno. When the hysteria gets high and I try and calm down, nothing gets through. I’ll do the wrong thing even though I know it isn’t.

My brain’s gone wonky.

Like…I feel like if I had at least one regular yoga class or boxing class ( which I do) to do a week, I’ll manage better.

But it’s a matter of following through and that I could never do

Until next time.

Hobbitcon 2016

So this year’s HobbitCon was a blast.

Unfortunately, it was also the last HobbitCon to be held in Bonn.

That’s not stopping the party though, Magic Con 2017 is a thing that’s happening and I couldn’t be more excited.

It was also my first convention ever which was pretty neat.

I almost didn’t know what to do with myself, there was so many things to do and so little time.

I managed though. The panels were fantastic and I honestly can’t remember the last time I laughed so hard.

Highlights included and were not limited to:

Jed Brophy and Mark Hadlow making out.
Adam Brown’s friend trying to avoid having to pay a fee for vomiting in the limo by using her shirt as storage
Ryan Gage not knowing he wasn’t supposed to take selfies with the crowd outside of the photo ops
Craig Parker and cheese jokes
Ryan Gage’s Oscar Speech

I had a great time! Can’t wait for the next one!

Hello out there, it’s on the air,

It’s Oscar night tonight!

And coincidentally it’s also hockey night for the city of Vancouver as the Vancouver Canucks have a game vs the San José Sharks.

So far the score is 1-0 Canucks for the afternoon and the awards for best Original Screenplay and best Adapted Screenplay have been given out!

Josh Singer and Tom McCarthy’s Spotlight as well as Charles Randolph and Adam McKay’s The Big Short have won respectively.

I will admit I have seen neither of these movies but as an aspiring writer, I really ought to check them out!

It will be a great learning experience!

Expect more updates soon!

UPDATE: Mad Max Fury Road has won 6 of its 11 nominations so far you have no idea how THRILLED I am for them!

Also Alicia Vikander is amazing
and has won Best Supporting Actress omfg.

on the downside the Canucks lost but otherwise FINALLY

Last Update before bed:

Congratulations to all those who were nominated for and won in their respective categories and most especially to the crew members of Mad Max Fury Road for winning 6 of its 10 nominations.

Good night, rest well and thanks for reading WordPress!
